Since it’s the Lenten season, my folks decided it would be best to spend the week in the beautiful beaches of Camiguin Island!
Of course, the trip to the island wasn’t easy since, evidently, we weren’t the only ones who thought it was a good idea to visit the island for the Lent.
It took an hour’s drive to get from Cagayan de Oro to the port for Camiguin, but it took over three hours of waiting in order to get to the barge since, apparently, hundreds of cars want to get to Camiguin too.
Still, the long wait was worth it. The barge trip to the island only took an hour or 30mins (not really sure since I fell asleep). Then we traveled onwards to Mambajao, Camiguin where we decided to stay at Dreamland Beach Resort.
After a quick nap, we took it upon ourselves to go around the island to visit the popular attractions.
Here are a few photos from our trip. All these photos were shot by me. Please don’t use my photos without explicit permission.
